About Kevin Corey
Kevin R. Corey is currently the Associate Director of the Talbert House Spring Grove Center (Courts and Corrections) located in Cincinnati, OH, and a former Chief of Police for the Village of Lincoln Heights (Ohio) Police Department.
He is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana and retired from the Fort Wayne Police Department in (2012), after serving more than (21) years in numerous command and leadership roles during his policing career. The last position that he held prior to retiring was as the first Community Affairs Commander for the Fort Wayne Police Department.
Kevin was also one of the initial contributors and served as the first Statewide President of the Indiana School Resource Officers Association (INSROA) in 2011.
Kevin acquired his Master’s Degree in Science (Organizational Leadership/ Human Resource Management) from Indiana Wesleyan University and his Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice from Trine (Tri-State) University located in Indiana.
Upon moving to the State of Ohio after retirement from the Fort Wayne Police Department in (2012) to take a Chief of Police position, Kevin served as a member of the Hamilton County Police Chief Association, the State of Ohio Police Association, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), NOBLE and the FBI National Academy Association.
He is a United States Marine Corp Veteran and currently still serves on numerous court and corrections, law enforcement and community advisory committees along with being ordained as a Deacon.
He and his best friend (Nicole) have five children and six grandchildren. He remarks "I try to recognize God’s authority in expanding or limiting my influence based on my obedient to His word and the stewardship of His gifts."
